Former Gov. Rochas Okorocha: gets INEC certificate as senator-elect for Imo West

The Independent National Electoral Commission has finally issued former Imo governor, Rochas Okorocha, a certificate of return for winning the February 23 Senatorial election in Imo West.

INEC had refused to recognise Okorocha’s victory, alleging that it was procured under duress.

In May, Justice Njemanze of the Owerri High Court further strengthened INEC’s position when he ordered that the Commission not to issue a Certificate of Return to any of the candidates that contested the Imo West Senatorial District election.

The Order from the High Court of Imo State was issued on 23rd May 2019 and the suit has been further adjourned till 26 June.
When INEC presented certificates to senators-elect in April, Okorocha was also not invited.

However, a Federal High Court in Abuja came to Okorocha’s rescue last week.

Justice Okon Abang ordered INEC to release the certificate, castigating the electoral umpire for withholding it under an unknown law.

TO EMEKA IHEDIOHA: WE WILL ADHERE TO DUE PROCESS IN CARRYING OUT GOVERNMENT BUSINESS

It is normal to see those who are not used to due process, procedure and order question what the New Administration has done since take over.
Today, due process has returned. Things are gradually returning to shape and procedures are followed in running of Government activities.
While speaking with a permanent secretary recently, She acknowledged that it was very easy to notice that “a serious administration has come in place”. The woman who pleaded I air her views on anonymity noted that at the various ministries, workers are once again energized and tasked to do their duties. In her exact words, “this time seems to be a better time to be a civil servant”.
We must all join hands to support the New Administration to succeed. Constructive criticisms are no doubt welcomed but those who dine and eat with propaganda shall be ignored to wallow in their imaginations.
From the appointments made so far, the foundations laid so far, the achievements made so far and the level of organization witnessed so far, one can not but agree in totality that Imo under the leadership of Emeka Ihedioha and Gerald Irona is on the right path.
One thing the green cap man has shown is that leadership is not a rocket science. You only need to remain focused with your eyes strictly on the Ball. For the New Sheriff, every minute counts and must be utilized properly. The solid foundations of today will certainly lead way to massive development in all sectors of the State.
To those who have been assembled to wrongly and shamefully criticize every action of the New Government, be assured that you are on a failed mission. It has become obvious that one of the parting gifts of the past administration was to recruit some individuals who were assigned to do hatchet jobs in the media for them. Their major assignment is to blackmail and discredit Imo State. They were specifically charged to speak against every government action, bring up propaganda on daily basis and insult the personality of the New Governor.
I consider this very unpatriotic, coming from people who should be seeking the face of God at this time, asking for forgiveness of their crimes against Imo people and humanity.
However, the good news is that the rebuilding process has started and Imo is moving forward.

THE MOST DANGEROUS SUICIDE IS SNIPPER

Many have been drinking sniper because of depression. Thinking it is the best way to relieve from the depression.
But one truth is this.
Sniper is not the best way and suicide like adding salt to an injuries.
Before you think of drinking sniper, read about sniper and have a rethink.

*Sniper* is not an easy killer, *it's an organ eating ,liquid monster*
*Sniper is a DDVP 2,2*
Ok...sniper is a Dichlorovinyl Dimethyl phosphate compound, produced by *ndi Swiss Nigeria Chemical Compound*
When you blindly drink *sniper* that you want to kill yourself, this is what will happen to you....
1. Your eyeballs will swim in its own water as forced tears escapes from its reservoir

2. You will have serious discharges from your nose...oh, it's late, you will have no control over these happenings now.
3. A banging migraine will set in. You will hold unto your head and scream like it wants to explode..
4. Your chest will tighten, forcing close , making sure that your body have lost control over it.
5. You will be on the floor by now, screaming through all your senses, as saliva pours out from your mouth like a slow, mini river.
6. You will mess yourself up with vomiting, and you will long to vomit your intestines too, to be relieved, cos you are now in so much regrets for taking the sniper, but ah,ah,ah...sniper must finish it's job.
7. The rest of the crises comes in turns as you shit all over yourself ...sweating ,muscle fasciculation, your blood pressure will go down low, convulsions, then, your life will be squeezed out of you through the shutting down of your lungs and kidney....cardiac arrest will aid your departure.
The last thing that will die in you, is your brain that will take in every information before shutting down. It will allow you watch yourself, give up the ghost

KEYNOTE ADDRESS BY HIS EXCELLENCY, RT. HON. EMEKA IHEDIOHA, CON, GOVERNOR OF IMO STATE

AT THE RETREAT/ORIENTATION FOR MEMBERS-ELECT OF THE IMO STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY
MONDAY 3RD TO WEDNESDAY 5TH JUNE 2019
PROTOCOLS:
Honourable Members-Elect, Ladies and Gentlemen,
1. It is my special privilege to be attending and delivering the Keynote at this Orientation Programme organized for you as Members-Elect of the 9th Imo State House of Assembly.
2. I wish to congratulate each one of you, on having secured your seat in the House of Assembly of our great State. I know, as you do, that it is no mean feat to win an election in Nigeria, particularly, in this part of the country. The legislative arm, where you have been elected to serve, is a very important one that is crucial for the development of our State.
3. Your election into the Imo State House of Assembly marks a new phase in your personal, professional and political journey. A phase that presents exciting opportunities; an opportunity to serve, to take critical decisions that affects the lives of your constituents and contribute overall to improved governance in Imo State. Your membership of this Assembly also presents an opportunity for you to learn, acquire new skills and enhance your knowledge in profound ways that equip you for even greater leadership responsibilities in the future.
4. This orientation programme presents one of such learning opportunities- to begin to get to know one another as colleagues in the Assembly and to also learn about your powers, roles and duties. I believe that the orientation sessions will form an important part of your preparation as you take on the onerous task of lawmaking, representation and oversight.
5. The opportunities that your legislative position offers may also appear daunting as it is exciting and as challenging as it is empowering. I say this, because you will be assuming your position as Members of this Legislative Assembly at a very critical time when the State is at the cross roads of seeking recovery from an era of arbitrariness to the new direction that we are set to go, of order, due process and respect for the Rule of Law.
6. Dear Honourable Members, it would not be an exaggeration for me to say that we are starting off this new administration following a pall of disaffection and disillusionment of Ndi Imo following the undemocratic antecedents of the immediate past administration. Looking ahead at all we need to do, our task appears indeed daunting. Yet, perhaps, this could turn out to be the best time to lead our people. It is often said that "Challenges are what makes life interesting and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.” Consequently, although the challenges of reconstructing our badly battered State and reviving the hopes of our people are huge, they are not insurmountable. This is because our people are resilient, strong, hard-working, and like citizens of any other State, need visionary and transformative leaders that can restore pride and confidence in our State.
7. In my inaugural speech, I made a commitment to the people of Imo to do the following, among others:
i. Ensure qualitative education for our children and set up an Education Trust Fund
ii. Tackle poverty and unemployment
iii. Prioritise job and wealth creation
iiii. Ensure massive investment in agriculture
v. Provide good quality healthcare for citizens; for pregnant women, children under 5 and senior citizens
vi. Review land allocations by the immediate past government
vii. Equip women and youths with resources, microcredit, skills training and entrepreneurship programmes to ensure productive undertakings
viii. Address the special needs of women, children and persons with disabilities
ix. Provide an enabling environment to make Imo a preferred destination for business, ICT, entertainment, culture and tourism
x. Review and overhaul existing state security infrastructure with a view to improving the safety and security of our people
8. No doubt, some of these initiatives will require legislative backing and funding. I believe Ndi Imo will want to see the House of Assembly tackle the issues that these plans seek to address. I will therefore urge you to join me to deliver on these commitments for the benefit of the people.
9. It is interesting to note that our administration or our tenures begin at a time when State Houses of Assembly have been constitutionally granted financial autonomy and independence. This particular Constitution amendment, which came into force just recently, was one of the many reforms I and my colleagues had championed during my time as Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives. At the time, the Committee on Review of the 1999 Constitution, which I headed, worked tirelessly to ensure that this amendment was adopted by the National Assembly and State Assemblies. Our ultimate goal was to adopt reforms that would give room for a stronger and more effective legislature and in effect, a more inclusive and participatory government. Incidentally, today, I find myself on the other side, that is - in the executive arm. However, I sincerely hope that this House of Assembly, as the first beneficiaries of this law, will utilize this new found independence efficiently and effectively. Furthermore, I believe that the people you represent expect that in exercising your powers, you will carry out your duties in a manner that commands respect from them and from other arms of government.
10. During the same period in the House of Representatives, we had also adopted a Legislative Agenda to guide our work. This agenda document encapsulated the policy thrust of the House of Representatives. Without intruding on the independence of this Assembly to determine its own procedure and mode of operations, I dare say that the Legislative Agenda was instrumental in setting a direction for the 7th House of Reps, as well as providing benchmarks for measuring our progress. In this regard, it is important to keep in mind that those you represent will be keeping tabs on your work whether or not you have an agenda and after 4 years, will be presenting their scorecard of your achievements or lack of it thereof.
11. In order to achieve our goals and meet the aspirations of Ndi Imo, we must work closely together. As always, I reaffirm my commitment to working with you while at the same time, asserting the need for respect for the principle of Separation of Powers so as to ensure efficiency in governance.
12. Honourable members-elect, we have our work cut out for us. To uphold the principles of democracy, to meet the expectations of our people, and to act in the overall best interest of the well-being, and prosperity of Imo.
13. On this note, let me specially appreciate the persons who have worked to put this event together. I also commend the many Resource Persons here today, especially those who have travelled from outside the State to be with us here to share their knowledge. Some of them are former legislators who will be sharing their experiences. I encourage you therefore to take the opportunity of this Orientation Programme to learn and absorb as much as you can from their experiences. Overall, I hope you find the legislative work that you are embarking on engaging and rewarding.
14. I now have the singular honour and privilege to declare open the Orientation Programme for Members-Elect of the 9th Imo State House of Assembly.
15. I thank you for your kind attention and wish you fruitful deliberations. God bless Imo State. God bless Nigeria.
RT. HON EMEKA IHEDIOHA (CON)
Governor, Imo State.

Invader at champions league final.

Congratulations Liverpool, but just a bit more about this lady who seemed to have become more popular than the victory itself.

Her name is Kinsey Wolanski.

"Life is for living, do crazy things that you'll remember forever".

These were her exact words, plus the emoji "😈" on her IG page.

Just so you know, one of the sexiest pitch invaders in the history of football had her debut last night in the Liverpool v Tottenham UCL final match.

Kinsey Wolanski, a Russian, had boldly written on her invasion dress 'Vitaly Uncensored' which is her boyfriend's business name.

Wolanski saw her Instagram followers sky rocket after the incident, rising to over 1 million within the space of a few hours. An over 700k increase!

She was cheered up and applauded by her boyfriend Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, amidst other drooling fans while she was escorted out of the pitch.

Worthy of note is that her boyfriend is a famous YouTube prankster who famously disrupted the 2014 World Cup Final.

Think about this...

Can we have other ladies who can take such risk for their men?

Indeed, life is worth living, let's make every bit of it count.

At times, just do those crazy things that would make you want to live forever rather than think of means of taking your life.

Na crazy tins I talk o, no be mumu tins!

Liverpool wins their 6th champions league trophy. #UEFA CHAMPIONS

You do not win UEFA Champions League without counting one before two, Liverpool counted one last season then step up and carried it this season. Tottenham in other hand has just counted their one, lets see what happen next season.
Liverpool has shown the whole world that they remain the best football club in Europe by reaching UEFA Champions League finals two consecutive times.
It was like play like play we defeated PSG in the group stage and qualified to round of 16 and like play like play we defeated Bayern Munich and proceeded to quarter finals and counted off FC Porto and went further to teach the best Spanish football club team FC Barcelona how to make use of pace in the field and like play like play Tottenham show forth but we had no other options than to Masaka them with the edge of sword, and that's how it end.
Next in our agenda is premier league and others.
Walking Alone Is Not Our Portion.
We are Liverpool. From Patrick Stanley a die hard Liverpool fan.

Eden Hazard breaks record

Chelsea talisman, Eden Hazard, stole the show with his amazing display during the Europa League final between his team, Chelsea, and Arsenal. The Belgian produced a stunning assist before going on to add a brace to the scoresheet to take the result to 4-1, which ultimately seals the win for the London club. As a result of his impressive performance today, Eden Hazard is now the first player ever to score a brace in the final of a major UEFA competition for an English club since Mark Hughes did same for Manchester United against Barcelona in the 1991 Cup Winners’ Cup final. Amazing isn’t it???
